Pink. When it comes to breast cancer, it’s more than just a color. It’s a symbol of unity. And while wearing pink is a great first step in raising breast cancer awareness, there is always more we can do. That is why The REY is proud to support the San Diego Susan G. Komen 3-Day®. This 60 mile, three day walking fundraiser has one goal and one goal only: to end breast cancer once and for all.

Why do We Support Komen?
According to Susan G. Komen, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. And it’s not just women who are at risk. Men are too. Each year over 246,000 women and 2,600 men are diagnosed with breast cancer. But thanks to early detection and advances in breast cancer research, the mortality rate has dropped significantly since the 1980s when mammogram technology became more readily available. That research may not have happened without the help of individuals and organizations like Susan G. Komen who are dedicated to furthering the cause.
